About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious, compassionate, and driven Deputy Care Manager to help lead an outstanding home care service and make a genuine difference every day.
Responsibilities
- Support the Care Manager and field care supervisors to deliver outstanding care to our clients
- Use our AI tool to review & update daily visit records, care plans and risk assessments
- Conduct care consultations, complete care plans and risk assessments
- Ensure rigorous CQC compliance, conduct weekly care visit audits, taking any requisite action needed
- Maintain audit compliant care records, medication documentation and visit logs
- Support safeguarding, investigations and continuous quality improvement
- Work closely with scheduling, recruitment and training to deliver outstanding client care
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide occasional ad hoc care support
Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience in adult social care, ideally domiciliary care
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and best practice
- Strong IT skills and confidence using digital and AI-based systems
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Live within a 60-minute drive of our Wandsworth office
- Lead by example, communicate brilliantly, take pride in high standards and share our passion for helping older people live well at home
