About the Role

The RBC Wealth Management Generalist Program is a 2-year rotational program designed to develop early-career leaders into senior roles within RBC Wealth Management. Participants gain broad exposure to various business units through three 8-month rotations, collaborating on complex assignments and developing skills through curated training and mentorship. The program aims to build a global leadership mindset, preparing individuals for future leadership positions.

Responsibilities

  • Embark on three strategically designed 8-month rotations across RBC Wealth Management's diverse lines of business.
  • Contribute to priority business initiatives requiring strategic thinking and analytical rigor.
  • Collaborate with leaders on complex assignments.
  • Develop skills through curated training.
  • Build meaningful relationships and connections across RBC.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of professional experience with early evidence of leadership.
  • Master's graduate (MBA strongly preferred) graduating before program starts in June/July 2027.
  • Strategic thinker drawn to organizational leadership.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity with structured problem-solving skills.
  • Technologically curious & AI-aware, understanding the impact of AI and digital transformation on financial services.
  • Bold communicator with clarity, conviction, and the ability to challenge thoughtfully.
  • Breadth orientation, understanding how all pieces of a business connect.
  • Demonstrated leadership in school, work, or community.
  • Adaptability and intellectual curiosity, managing change and learning quickly.
