About the Role
Join our CFO Advisory Services team to transform and optimize client finance functions through process improvement, automation, accounting advisory, and audit readiness initiatives. Partner with senior leaders to solve complex business challenges, enhance financial reporting, and drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver finance function transformation and accounting advisory projects, optimizing processes and exceeding expectations.
- Develop self and team through coaching and client experiences, fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration, project management, report writing, and technology skills in project delivery.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders as a trusted advisor, tailoring solutions to meet needs.
- Contribute to business development, including account planning, new offering development, thought leadership, and proposals.
- Assist with team coordination, including resourcing, training, recruitment, and development of internal relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in accounting, commerce, or finance.
- CA qualification or equivalent professional qualification.
- 5-8 years of accounting or finance experience in professional services or commerce.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver high-quality projects.
- Proven experience in finance transformation, automation, reporting tools automation, financial reporting, management accounting, data extraction, project management, and accounting advisory.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate issues, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborative approach, working effectively within teams and developing others.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting standards, controls, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Self-motivated, ethical, and dependable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including CoPilot, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Business development exposure (desirable).
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query, Alteryx, AI, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, and other ERP systems (desirable).
