About the Role

Responsible for running in-club pickleball tournaments, ensuring revenue goals are met, and providing an excellent customer service experience to members.

Responsibilities

  • Owns all preparation work required for tournament, including application submission, website setup, promotion, registration handling, draw updates, schedule creation, and court coordination.
  • Leads and supervises during tournament/event.
  • Ensures all pickleball courts and equipment are clean, organized, and in good working condition.
  • Partners with additional Life Time departments as needed.
  • Quickly and efficiently responds to member questions, comments, and concerns.
  • Responsible for achieving or exceeding pickleball tournament revenue and CM goals.
  • Actively manages tournament expenses, including labor and supplies, while reducing non-essential expenses.
  • Recaps tournament financials post-event.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.
  • Thorough knowledge of the game of tennis and possesses effective teaching styles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills.
  • Comfortable working with all age groups and building positive relationships with members and team members.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds.
