About the Role
Join our recycling and production (warehouse) team at our Camperdown store, reporting to the Production Manager. This role involves supporting the production team, diverting items from landfill, managing workstation supplies, meeting daily production targets, and upholding safety standards. You will also unload trucks and operate industrial equipment, while engaging with customers and donors to provide excellent service and a meaningful Savers experience.
Responsibilities
- Providing support to the production team
- Keeping sellable and recyclable item out of landfill
- Replenishment of hangers and stationery for each workstation
- Working with your team to make sure you all meet daily production targets
- Supporting our safety culture
- Unload trucks and operate industrial equipment including balers, bin lifters and walkie stackers
- Meeting and engaging with our wonderful customers and donors, and sharing the Savers story with them to ensure they receive excellent service and have a meaningful Savers experience
Requirements
- Availability for Part Time hours, Monday to Friday - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- A team player who loves working in a team and enjoys helping others to meet team goals
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment (e.g., retail, production, warehousing, or hospitality)
- Customer focused, passionate about providing an exceptional experience at every interaction
- Eager to learn, always looking to find a better way, adapt and improve
- Passionate about standing up for what’s right and doing what you say you will
- Further processes such as police checks may form part of the application process
