About the Role
The Restaurant Dishwasher focuses on maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness to ensure guests receive food and beverage service that meets the high standards set by Neiman Marcus.
Responsibilities
- Keeps dish, trash, and floor areas clean and organized to the highest Health and Kitchen standards.
- Maintains dish machine by checking and filling chemicals, understanding operation, reporting malfunctions, and keeping chemical testers on hand.
- Knows how to use all sanitizing materials for cleaning.
- Checks trash periodically and removes if full.
- Organizes dish area with all solutions for pots, pans, sinks, and silver.
- Maintains a pace for washing all pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware.
- Exercises caution when working with breakables.
- Keeps floors clean from spills, grease, and general trash.
- Assists with preparation and additional cleaning throughout the kitchen as needed.
- Maintains a professional relationship with all line cooks, coworkers, chef, and front-of-the-house staff.
- Upholds all Health and Sanitation standards as directed by Neiman Marcus, local Health Department, and 3rd party Sanitation auditors.
Requirements
- Ability to work autonomously.

- Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying 35 pounds.
- Associates must be based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
