About the Role

MGT Insurance is seeking a Forward Deployed Product Manager to lead AI-driven insurance platform implementations for partners. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their workflows, configuring and building solutions, and translating learnings into platform features to enhance future implementations. The position requires a blend of product strategy, data analysis, design, and engineering, with an emphasis on end-to-end execution and agility.

Responsibilities

  • Own partner delight by shipping great solutions on time and investing in long-term relationships.
  • Lead partner implementations to live, owning product decisions, gap analysis, and go-live.
  • Configure, script, and build implementation needs directly using modern AI tooling.
  • Create reusable playbooks from each implementation to drive down cycle time.
  • Convert recurring customizations into productized platform features, serving as a high-signal source for roadmap truth.

Requirements

  • Shipped meaningful work with an AI engineering tool (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Devin) and have a public GitHub.
  • 5+ years of experience at a firm that achieved scale, ideally in InsureTech, FinTech, or Consulting.
  • Experience building things directly; not an agile coach or scrum manager.
  • Led complex implementations to live, with the ability to discuss successes, failures, and lessons learned.
  • Experience in FinTech or a regulated industry, with direct experience in InsureTech or at a large carrier/brokerage being ideal.
  • Demonstrated partner-facing judgment, including gracefully saying no, negotiating scope, and maintaining trust.
  • Proven productizing instinct, with experience turning bespoke requests into platform features.
  • Experience in a growth-stage organization.
  • References from peer department managers (Engineering, Ops, Partner leadership) who enjoyed working with you.
