About the Role
MGT Insurance is seeking a Senior Product Manager to revolutionize the commercial P&C insurance experience for brokers and small business owners. This role involves replacing traditional methods with a modern, AI-driven platform that offers a superior user experience, akin to leading fintech applications. You will be responsible for enhancing the broker and insured experience, with a key metric being the reduction of inbound servicing requests through self-service and education.
Responsibilities
- Own the broker experience, focusing on quote, bind, and servicing flows that are fast, self-explanatory, and visually appealing.
- Own the design system and product taste across all broker-facing surfaces.
- Develop and implement a real AI chat assistant capable of resolving top servicing requests end-to-end.
- Design and implement strategies for servicing deflection through education, tracking progress by request type and cohort.
- Enhance the insured experience with similar standards for onboarding, documents, payments, and claims intake.
- Directly contribute code, analyze data, and manage product execution from concept through post-launch.
- Collaborate fluidly across strategy, data, design, and engineering, as product and engineering lanes are merging.
Requirements
- Shipped meaningful work (beyond simple prototypes) with an AI engineering tool (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Devin) and can show commits.
- 5+ years of experience at a firm that achieved scale, ideally in InsureTech, FinTech, or Consulting.
- Proven ability to build things directly and ship end-to-end.
- References from peer department managers (Engineering, Design, Ops/Servicing) who enjoyed working with you.
