About the Role

As an administrative therapy specialist, you are responsible for greeting and providing exceptional customer service to patients receiving therapy services. You will manage accurate scheduling, registration, and data entry of patient information. This role supports patient care through scheduling, insurance verification, and ensuring patients are prepared for successful interactions. You will own provider schedule accuracy and match patient needs to appointments. This role is ideal for those who enjoy learning and applying new ideas to enhance patient service.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and provide exceptional customer service to patients receiving therapy services.
  • Accurately schedule, register, and enter patient information into the medical record system.
  • Support patient care delivery in scheduling, insurance verification, and support services.
  • Ensure patients are fully ready for successful interactions during their visits.
  • Own provider schedule accuracy and match patient needs to appointments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to proficiently use a computer and type.
  • Experience working in one or more of the following areas: Healthcare Call Center Customer Service, Healthcare with medical terminology knowledge.
  • At least 4 years in customer service in an office and/or banking environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
