About the Role
Lead high-value corporate procurement categories and shape procurement transformation and performance within a value-based, caring organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic procurement and category management agenda across Sydney Adventist Hospital's Corporate portfolio.
- Develop and execute category strategies that deliver sustainable value, service continuity and operational excellence.
- Lead complex sourcing initiatives, commercial negotiations and supplier partnerships across key corporate categories.
- Identify opportunities to improve value, reduce risk, optimise supplier performance and support the organisation's long-term strategic objectives.
- Shape the future of the Procurement & Supply Chain function.
- Drive procurement transformation, strengthen governance and compliance frameworks, build wider team capability and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strategic procurement professional with strong experience delivering value through sourcing, category management and supplier partnerships.
- Comfortable working across diverse corporate categories, balancing commercial outcomes, service quality and risk in a complex environment.
- Experience leading major tenders, commercial negotiations and procurement initiatives.
- Significant experience in procurement, category management or supply chain leadership.
- Experience across complex corporate or service-based procurement categories.
- Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proven success delivering sourcing, cost-saving and value improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
- Experience leading teams and driving organisational change.
