About the Role

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is seeking a Brand Manager to join their marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with a "can-do" attitude, a passion for new projects, and up-to-date knowledge of marketing trends and technologies. The position offers a unique opportunity to be a champion in the company's marketing and branding journey.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute marketing campaigns for both corporate and employer brands.
  • Manage multiple projects from briefing to launch, including project scoping, preplanning, and collaboration with design, digital, and communications teams.
  • Research and identify target audiences and industry peers.
  • Assess and deploy marketing initiatives, measuring and iterating as required.
  • Manage project planning and budgeting.
  • Oversee compliance requirements for marketing initiatives in a highly-regulated industry.
  • Build out virtual and in-person events from concept through execution.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to brainstorm and implement new strategies.
  • Work with key stakeholders to update and improve their marketing efforts.
  • Identify the latest trends and technologies within marketing relevant to the asset management industry.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of marketing experience, ideally in asset management.
  • Experience managing internal clients is an asset.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar.
  • Asset management knowledge.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written French is an asset.
  • Familiarity and curiosity using digital marketing technology such as Salesforce Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), WordPress, and Formstack.
  • Experience in utilizing social platforms and optimizing paid and organic media initiatives.
  • Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to improvise.
  • Ability to work independently while creating consensus throughout the process.
  • Creative mind with an eye for detail and a proven track record of successful ideas.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to the evolving needs of the business.
  • Openness to continuous learning.
