About the Role
As a member of our Land Development engineering team, you'll help shape communities across the country by designing efficient site plans and sustainable subdivisions. You will assist in delivering essential infrastructure solutions using innovative technologies to create more livable, resilient, and sustainable urban spaces.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of Functional Servicing Reports and Stormwater Management Reports to support development applications.
- Perform sanitary, water, and stormwater servicing calculations, including coordination of water and sewer capacity analyses.
- Prepare and update engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including site servicing, grading, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control plans.
- Support project delivery through drawing revisions, project coordination, and communication with clients, review agencies, utility companies, and other consultants.
- Assist with the procurement and coordination of subconsultant investigations, including geotechnical and subsurface utility engineering (SUE) services.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and assist in the preparation of tender documents.
- Conduct site reviews and provide construction-phase support.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a civil engineering program at an accredited university.
- Recent Graduates will not be considered.
- Demonstrates superior English communication skills both oral and written.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have a valid G Class Driver’s License with access to a vehicle.
- Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere.
Skills
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D is an asset.
