About the Role
Responsible for the day-to-day service maintenance of all building operating systems within the residential portfolio, adhering to standards of safety, high-quality customer service, and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide scheduled day-to-day service maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and life safety for residential operating systems.
- Provide emergency maintenance and repairs for electrical, mechanical, and life safety for residential operating systems.
- Complete monthly preventative maintenance checklists for all properties, submit reports, and confirm any additional required work.
- Monitor and operate the Building Automation System (BAS).
- Check garbage chutes and compactors for functionality and perform repairs.
- Provide relevant maintenance information and training on fire prevention equipment to maintenance staff and Property Managers.
- Ensure all equipment and systems are operated safely, efficiently, and in compliance with government codes and regulations.
- Perform assigned duties with minimum supervision as per agreed schedules.
- Attend periodically scheduled training sessions for personal development.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure health, safety, and security procedures are adhered to and report areas of concern.
- Submit a daily timesheet to the Property Manager.
- Work in cooperation with residential maintenance staff and Property Managers.
- Provide day-to-day maintenance support to cover staffing shortages.
- Adhere to proper clothing attire, including safety shoes, full-length pants, SKPM issued golf shirt, and name tag.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently stop, bend, and kneel.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
- Work performed both indoors and outdoors in a variety of environmental conditions.
