About the Role
As a Purchasing and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for purchasing goods for the hotel, spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Assist with purchasing materials and supplies, researching prices, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
- Accept all purchased products, ensuring accuracy by checking deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, and specifications
- Issue and deliver items to departments as requested, maintaining appropriate stock levels and notifying supervisors of low or out-of-stock items
- Receive and process invoices, verify accuracy, scan documents, and follow up on discrepancies to ensure timely payment
- Conduct routine inventories, input received merchandise into tracking systems, and report shortages or discrepancies
