About the Role
ABACUS is seeking HVAC Service Selling Technicians to join a team dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience. Our Comfort Advisers act as in-home consultants to design and sell HVAC solutions to homeowners, with the potential to earn $150K-$200K from warm leads. ABACUS is a leading national provider of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing services, known for industry-leading warranties and a commitment to changing customer and employee experiences in the service industry.
Responsibilities
- Drive new sales for the company in a professional manner consistent with the company’s integrity and customer-care standards.
- Determine customer needs and provide solutions that solve issues and generate a high rate of referral-based sales.
- Run assigned appointments from a variety of sources.
- Understand finance offers for each program.
- Follow the ABACUS In-home Sales program to close and install HVAC Systems.
- Perform sales presentations as outlined in the company selling process.
- Educate potential customers on value, special promotions, and the benefits of high-efficiency and optional equipment.
- Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records.
- Attend customer appointments as scheduled.
- Represent the company in a professional manner consistent with the company’s integrity and customer-care standards.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of sales experience (Home Installation and Repair highly desired).
- Excellent listening skills and ability to deliver an extraordinary customer experience.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Integrity and ability to promote a positive company image.
- Results-driven in a high-energy environment.
- Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
