Responsibilities
- Conduct daily routine checks on equipment to detect damages or needs for repairs.
- Service machines including conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, depalletizers, and labelers.
- Complete production line assignments while maintaining strict safety standards.
- Maintain and repair PLC, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery.
- Troubleshoot equipment, machines, and associated hardware with minimal supervision.
- Support operators during equipment malfunctions and collaborate to correct problems.
- Participate in the development of team members through training and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems (Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP).
- Adhere to all rules and policies regarding health, safety, environmental, food safety, legal regulations, and company requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a plant, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Ability to read manuals, find parts, and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Fast learner with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Successful candidates will be required to provide photo ID, banking details, a valid SIN number, and (if applicable) a valid work permit.
Skills
- Electromechanical competency (sensors, drives, HMI, etc.) is an asset.
- Trade license is an asset.
