About the Role
As an AI Engineer, you will transform Cyvl's extensive LiDAR and imagery datasets into actionable intelligence. This involves developing computer vision models for asset detection and assessment, and creating LLM-powered tools for customer interaction with physical world data. You will manage models from initial development through production deployment and monitoring, contributing to features used by customers daily.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve computer vision and 3D perception models for infrastructure detection and assessment.
- Develop LLM-powered products including agentic workflows, MCP server, and AI copilots.
- Own model lifecycle from data and training to evaluation, deployment, and production monitoring.
- Design evaluation sets and metrics aligned with customer needs.
- Research and integrate state-of-the-art tools and techniques into products and workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping ML or AI systems in production.
- Proficiency in Python and a modern deep learning framework (PyTorch preferred).
- Hands-on experience with computer vision, 3D perception, or LLM applications (RAG, tool use, agents, evals).
- Solid software engineering fundamentals including testing, code review, and cloud deployment.
- Ability to rapidly prototype and develop production-grade solutions from ambiguous problems.
