About the Role
This entry-level Transportation Position involves working with a professional engineer to design and detail plans using CADD on various highway and bridge projects. Opportunities exist to engage in all project stages, from feasibility and preliminary design to construction administration. The team offers a dynamic environment focused on work-life balance and individual growth.
Responsibilities
- Design and detail plans using CADD on local, state, and county highway and bridge rehabilitation/replacement projects.
- Engage in projects at all stages, including feasibility, preliminary design, roadway design, structural design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
- Apply broad knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
- 0-4 years’ experience or ability to obtain EIT within a year or two
- Team-oriented 'can do' attitude
- Knowledge of engineering principles & construction practices
- Some CADD (any CADD program) experience is a must
- Good technical writing and communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and open to learning new and innovative design procedures and methods
