About the Role
As a founding engineer on the Innovation team, you will build and ship complex, scalable solutions for tens of thousands of clients. You will influence foundational decisions in architecture, design, systems, data, and product, acting in both Engineering and Product capacities. This is a unique opportunity to develop a product from its inception (0-to-1) and deploy it immediately at scale, working directly with the Chief Innovation Officer.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end experience, including full user journeys and business goals, not just isolated components.
- Build solutions or integrate with vendors to create a cohesive platform, scaling products post-launch.
- Partner with clients, advisors, and colleagues to identify high-value opportunities, understand needs, map workflows, test prototypes, and build optimal experiences.
- Establish foundational engineering principles and product strategy that influence platform architecture, data, and user experiences.
- Build at the cutting edge of applied AI, working across the AI stack (harness, context, memory, evals, agents, models) for wealth management and internal collaboration.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Financial services industry experience, including wealth management, investment advisory, or related operations.
- Demonstrated experience with AI tooling, models, harnesses, and workflows.
- Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and build 0-to-1 products from first principles.
- Expertise with Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI development tools.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
