About the Role
The RFP Senior Analyst at MFS plays a critical role in supporting new business development, client retention efforts, and consultant relations inquiries by managing, writing, and coordinating high-quality, timely responses to RFPs, DDQs, and other information requests. This role requires independent management of requests, strong writing, communication, and data skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Independently manages requests using standardized procedures and guidelines, with escalation to their manager or senior leader where needed.
- Assume end-to-end responsibility of assigned requests by managing timelines, coordinating stakeholder input, and finalizing the required document in accordance with the established RFP procedures and requirements.
- Coordinate input from owners and reviewers across the organization, with varying levels of seniority.
- Source and consolidate firm and/or product data as requested, ensuring appropriate adherence to legal and compliance requirements.
- Partners with a senior team member to ensure final responses align with predefined procedures surrounding firm messaging, regulatory standards, and branding guidelines.
- Prioritize and manage deadlines across multiple concurrent requests and regions.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to improve process, templates, and documentation.
- Executes procedural and system-based governance tasks to ensure requests comply with RFP policies and procedures.
- Assume other responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5+ years of professional experience, preferably in asset management or working with RFPs/DDQs.
- Strong attention to detail, request management, and organizational skills with the ability to manage concurrent deadlines independently.
- Excellent communication, written, editorial, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products; Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to adapt to new and evolving technology and processes quickly.
- Works well under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet stringent deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively and with individuals across the organization.
- Professionally communicate with senior leaders when requiring signatures or other administrative requirements.
- Flexibility at short notice to work additional hours to fulfill their duties.
- Occasional travel may be required.
