About the Role
Vanderweil Engineers is seeking a Structural Designer to support our staff in Boston, MA. This role will work on projects across the country, including Puerto Rico and Hawaii, complementing specialty groups and supporting various vertical markets within the company.
Responsibilities
- Create 3D technical models using AutoCad and Revit for construction documents.
- Coordinate multi-discipline Revit models.
- Create and modify technical drawings and schematics from engineer markups using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Engage interactively with various engineers and designers.
- Update drawings and models based on project requirement changes or feedback.
Requirements
- Ability to create and modify technical drawings and specifications.
- 3+ years of professional experience with increasing levels of responsibility in structural analysis and design.
- Knowledge of structural design techniques, tools, and principles for producing technical plans, drawings, and models.
