About the Role
Provide exceptional service to clientele to enhance customer satisfaction, experience, and productivity. Perform job duties within the scope of practice under issued licenses/certifications. Work closely with Mid-Level Providers as needed for client care. May assist to train peers and new hires to ensure Company standards. Maintain strict medical protocols for all laser services regarding state regulation, HIPAA, and other regulatory compliance programs set by the Company. Maintain a professional, neat appearance and adhere to the approved dress code to ensure an upscale atmosphere of the med spa.
Responsibilities
- Perform laser services including Laser Hair Removal and Photo-facials.
- Perform aesthetic services including derma-planning, SkinPen micro-needling with and without PRP, facials, chemical peels, and HydraFacial.
- Perform body contouring services including CoolSculpting.
- Provide client-centered customized plans to meet skin care needs through services, product sales, and treatments.
- Perform full aesthetic consultations to meet client's aesthetic short/long-term goals.
- Maintain elite, clean, and organized work/treatment areas.
- Assist with unpacking and storing orders appropriately and timely.
- Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory by communicating needs and counts to management.
- Ensure charting is accurate, timely, and complete to depict all client appointments and experiences.
- Attend continuing education as requested by Clinical Management.
- Attend and provide input at all team meetings organized by direct supervisor and clinical management.
- Ensure client concerns are reported timely to the Senior Laser Technician, Manager, Mid-Level Provider, and Operations Manager.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency is required.
- Laser Technician license issued by the Department of Licensing is required.
- Medical Esthetician License issued by the State is required.
- Ability to work weekends and possess a flexible schedule.
- Strong and extensive knowledge of laser, skin treatment procedures, esthetician practices, and medical practice management.
- Ability to self-promote and engage in company social media according to guidelines.
- Understanding of patient/client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policy.
- Possess a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for transportation.
- High level of integrity with a strong ethical foundation.
- Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to reach above shoulder height, crawl, kneel, and push/pull up 50 lbs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
