About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Data Scientist to help build the bank of the future, supercharge user engagement, and create a bank that customers truly love. At Monzo, we are building a bank that is fair, transparent, and a delight to use, with over 11 million customers in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data presentation to understand user interaction with products and inform product strategy.
- Guide and enable product teams to measure key metrics and run A/B experiments.
- Collaborate with the finance team to establish a unified understanding of user lifetime value and the impact of product features on profitability.
- Liaise with engineers to ensure the collection of appropriate data for business insights.
Requirements
- Solid grounding in SQL and preferably Python.
- Experience in conducting large-scale A/B experiments.
- Excitement about Monzo's mission.
- Impact-driven with a desire to positively impact the company, product, users, and colleagues.
- Commercially minded with the ability to put numbers into business perspective.
- Comfortable with both hands-on work and strategic thinking.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to proactively identify and address issues and opportunities.
- Team player who is reliable.
- Ability to relocate to the UK.
- Willingness to have ad hoc meetings in London if working remotely within the UK.
