About the Role
Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is seeking a Contract Full-Time Banquet Chef De Partie who is passionate about food and cooking, willing to learn from and contribute to the culinary team. This contract position will take place from early October 2026 to approximately January 1st, 2027.
Responsibilities
- Works together with other team members to ensure a flawlessly executed final product.
- Contributes to the culinary team.
Requirements
- Passionate about cuisine.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and Sous Chefs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Trained and certified in safe food handling.
- Proficient knife skills.
- Continuous standing for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Open schedule with the ability to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Outgoing personality.
- Can-do approach to any task.
- At minimum 5 years previous Kitchen/Cook experience in a fast-paced Restaurant operation.
- Experience in a luxury hotel with comparable service and standards is an asset.
- Successful candidates possess open availability and the ability to work a variety shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in Canada.
- Work permit sponsorship is not available.
