About the Role
At Rosental Organics, you will take full ownership of our international procurement, from packaging materials to product components, and build the processes that support our growth. You will ensure the continuous availability of all packaging materials and product components, proactively preventing bottlenecks. You will maintain a stable inventory range of 1-6 months for all relevant products, continuously adjusting it to the forecast. You will actively negotiate with Chinese suppliers, sustainably reducing COGS through strong conditions and strategic partnerships. You will establish robust processes for collaboration with international suppliers, including complete compliance documentation and clear communication channels. You will develop and maintain clear SOPs and ensure smooth collaboration with all internal interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the permanent availability of all packaging materials and product components.
- Prevent bottlenecks before they arise.
- Maintain a stable inventory range of 1-6 months for all relevant products and continuously adapt it to the forecast.
- Actively negotiate with Chinese suppliers and sustainably reduce COGS through strong conditions and strategic partnerships.
- Build robust processes for collaboration with international suppliers, including complete compliance documentation and clear communication channels.
- Develop and maintain clear SOPs and ensure smooth collaboration with all internal interfaces.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience negotiating with Chinese suppliers.
- Intercultural competence in the China context and understanding of communication dynamics.
- Ability to create stable, data-based forecasts and inventory plans, ideally with experience in common ERP or Planning tools.
- Ability to maintain an overview of inventory, delivery dates, and production plans amidst multiple moving variables.
- Process-oriented thinking: identifying inefficiencies, designing improved workflows, and guiding others.
- Fluent communication in English and German; Chinese is a clear plus.
