About the Role
The IPO & Growth Financing team at Deutsche Börse supports private growth companies on their path to the capital market. Our goal is to identify promising IPO candidates early, build sustainable relationships with decision-makers, and support companies in preparing for a potential stock market listing.
Responsibilities
- Identification, analysis, and prioritization of potential IPO and DirectPlace candidates in Germany and Europe.
- Independent execution of company, market, and capital market analyses to assess IPO readiness, growth potential, and financing options.
- Direct collaboration with founders, CEOs, CFOs, investors, banks, and advisors, including preparation and follow-up of management meetings.
- Building, maintaining, and developing our IPO and Growth Financing pipeline, and deriving concrete business development measures.
- Creation of company profiles, market studies, presentations, and decision papers for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support in the development and implementation of IPO readiness and capital market initiatives for private growth companies.
- Representation of Deutsche Börse at conferences, events, and networking formats, as well as active development of a leading capital market network.
- Continuous monitoring of IPO, venture capital, private equity, and growth financing trends, and derivation of strategic recommendations for action.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in economics, finance, business informatics, or a comparable course of study.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, venture capital, strategy consulting, or a comparable capital market-related function.
- Strong interest in capital markets, financing, entrepreneurship, and growth companies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to soundly assess business models, markets, and corporate strategies.
- Proficient in using AI applications, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as experience in preparing complex content for management decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor when dealing with entrepreneurs, investors, and advisors.
- High degree of initiative and an independent, structured, and solution-oriented work approach.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
