Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end production of game-night shows for the Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, and Long Island Nets.
  • Translate each night’s strategy, objectives, audience priorities, and business goals into a cohesive live experience.
  • Work with Marketing to establish the creative and production vision for pregame, in-game, halftime, timeout, quarter-break, postgame, and special-event programming.
  • Oversee all show elements, including entertainment, music, lighting, pyrotechnics, fan interaction, promotions, contests, sponsored features, video content, live performers, and special presentations.
  • Lead production meetings, rehearsals, game-night briefings, show calls, checklists, and live execution while maintaining high standards for quality, timing, safety, brand alignment, and operational readiness.
  • Prepare for contingencies, including overtime, delays, injuries, technical issues, and postgame scenarios, and serve as a senior decision-maker and escalation point during live events.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of game-night runs of show, scripts, cue sheets, show flows, templates, production standards, technical requirements, and operating procedures.
  • Partner with Creative and Content to develop and integrate in-bowl entertainment content that advances the show strategy and brand narrative.
  • Lead, develop, and manage the Game Presentation production team, including show callers, stage managers, game-night coordinators, and the performance side of Entertainment Teams.
  • Oversee the integration of dance teams, hype teams, hosts, DJs, emcees, mascots, performers, and other entertainment talent into game-night programming, including scheduling, rehearsals, performance quality, and development.
  • Manage budgets, resources, schedules, and competing priorities across multiple properties, and contribute to or lead production for select external events and large-scale fan experiences, including Nets Fest and Brooklyn Dribble.
  • Lead post-game and after-action reviews, using fan feedback, audience engagement, executional quality, and other available insights to identify improvements and convert observations into action plans for future games.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience producing live entertainment, sports, television, concerts, theater, or large-scale events; live basketball production experience is a plus.
  • At least five years of management or supervisory experience in live-event production, including budget management.

  • Proven ability to develop runs of show, scripts, cue sheets, show flows, production plans, and contingency plans.
  • Strong understanding of in-venue production technology, including video boards, LED systems, lighting, audio, replay, and show-control systems.
  • Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, deadlines, and events simultaneously.
