About the Role
The Merchandise Team Lead is responsible for the Westchester Merchandise stand, focusing on merchandise display, sales, guest relations, and equipment maintenance. This role involves overall management of the location on event nights.
Responsibilities
- Conducting daily audits and monthly location inventory.
- Ensuring guests receive outstanding service and staff adhere to high standards.
- Maintaining a good understanding of products, services, systems, and practices.
- Assisting with floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and location cleanliness.
- Reporting maintenance or merchandise issues to management.
- Processing and replenishing merchandise on the selling floor.
- Providing exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and team members.
- Adhering to appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years retail experience in sports merchandising.
- Ability to process information/merchandise through the current computer register system (POS).
- Ability to communicate with all employees and guests.
- Must be able to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the respective merchandise store/stand.
- Ability to move or handle merchandise.
- Able to walk and stand during the entire shift.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment.
