About the Role
You know what a YouTube production should look and sound like – and can technically implement it from recording to the finished video. With us, you will produce video formats for YouTube and Twitch: in the studio, on location shoots, and ideally also live. You will work with hosts and editorial staff, ensuring that an idea becomes a technically sound, high-quality production.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and technically implement video recordings, from camera and lighting setup to sound and recording.
- Conduct studio recordings independently, monitor cameras, framing, sound, and recording, and maintain an overview even with multiple cameras.
- Edit videos and be responsible for post-production, including picture and sound editing, as well as final output for YouTube.
- Develop and optimize setups and production workflows for regular and reliable production of high-quality videos.
- Supervise studio and on-location shoots and resolve technical problems quickly.
- Technically implement live streams on YouTube or Twitch and control picture and sound signals during the broadcast.
Requirements
- Technically supported video productions for larger YouTube channels, creators, or comparable digital formats.
- Independently plan, set up, and safely operate camera, lighting, and sound setups during a recording.
- Experience with multi-camera recordings and ability to run a production independently.
- Proficiency in editing and post-production with common software, with a good eye for picture quality, lighting, and timing.
- Experience with live streams, vision mixing, and streaming software like OBS or vMix is a big plus.
- Work carefully and independently, remain calm during technical problems, and have the desire to implement high-level YouTube and Twitch productions.
