About the Role

Own recruiting for Engineering roles from first briefing with hiring managers to offer, across German and Singapore offices. Screen candidates and manage pipelines, creating an excellent candidate journey. Align processes, interview guides, and scorecards between German and Singapore teams, working closely with hiring managers across time zones. Run live coding challenges, evaluate technical results with hiring managers, and represent D4L at recruiting fairs and tech meetups. Use AI tools to enhance recruiting efficiency and handle new challenges like AI-generated applications.

Responsibilities

  • Own recruiting for Engineering roles from first briefing with hiring managers to offer, across German and Singapore offices
  • Screen candidates and manage pipelines across both locations
  • Create an excellent candidate journey
  • Align processes, interview guides and scorecards between the German and Singapore teams
  • Work closely with hiring managers in both locations across time zones
  • Run live coding challenges with candidates
  • Evaluate technical results together with hiring managers
  • Write job ads that speak to engineers
  • Actively direct-search engineering candidates on LinkedIn and build a talent pipeline
  • Stay in touch with potential candidates
  • Stay on top of the latest recruiting trends
  • Test new channels and formats
  • Evaluate what works and bring own ideas to the table
  • Use AI tools to make recruiting process faster and smarter
  • Handle new challenges like AI-generated applications or screening responses
  • Represent D4L at recruiting fairs, tech meetups and in relevant tech communities

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in technical recruiting, ideally in-house at a tech or digital health company, hiring software engineers
  • Hands-on coding background: can code and think your way into an unfamiliar stack
  • Know backend from frontend languages
  • Comfortable with TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Go, React/Vue, Docker and Kubernetes well enough to run, challenge and support candidates through a live coding challenge
  • Comfortable browsing GitHub and plugged into developer communities is a bonus
  • Strong writing skills, can craft job ads and outreach messages that actually get read
  • Confident with direct sourcing and Boolean search
  • Comfortable testing new sourcing formats and using AI tools thoughtfully
  • Fluent, professional-level English
  • German is a plus for collaboration with external partners in Germany
  • Experience in recruiting across time zones and locations, ideally including APAC
  • Confident with tools like Personio, LinkedIn Recruiter and common ATS/sourcing tools
  • SAP HRM a plus
