About the Role

As a Department Manager at Victoria's Secret, you will be a key part of the management team, ensuring store success, inspiring the team to achieve targets, and creating the best customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by showcasing product knowledge and assisting customers with purchases.
  • Lead and energize the team, ensuring they have the necessary resources for efficient shifts and maintaining high brand standards.
  • Support the management team in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) across the store, focusing on sales growth and profitability.
  • Maintain store standards, including managing deliveries, stock replenishment, loss prevention, and adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Execute brand visual standards and ensure the team does the same.
  • Actively listen to team members, share ideas with store partners, and contribute to business growth and positive change.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including key holder responsibilities, in line with company procedures.
  • Support new product launches, floor set changes, and audits, ensuring team members are trained for required tasks.

Requirements

  • Previous retail management experience in a fast-paced store environment.
  • Demonstrated record of managing and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Understanding of how to manage a team to achieve objectives and drive performance.
  • Passion for retail, both front and back of house, with a focus on creating unique customer experiences.
  • Keenness to learn and develop customer service skills and product knowledge.
  • Ability to lead with purpose, engaging and developing the team with shared enthusiasm for the brand.
  • Ability to develop valued relationships with customers, team members, and wider business teams.
  • Ability to collaborate and develop the designated team with shared enthusiasm for the brand.
  • Flexibility, supportiveness, and contribution to a positive working environment.
