About the Role

The Queen's Club is seeking an accomplished and highly motivated Events Manager to join our distinguished Events team. This role offers a rare opportunity to contribute to the delivery of world-class experiences within one of London’s most prestigious private members’ clubs, curating memorable occasions that reflect the Club’s heritage of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, sales, and execution of all meetings, functions, sporting days and social events, ensuring exceptional experiences and meeting revenue/budget targets.
  • Drive the member social events calendar, introducing innovative ideas while preserving traditional events and promoting high engagement.
  • Act as the lead promoter for events across internal channels, coordinating with communications, reception, and F&B.
  • Manage function and event communication, including writing function sheets, updating listings, and sending targeted communications.
  • Build and convert sales enquiries into confirmed bookings, managing the full event sales cycle.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external clients to grow bookings.
  • Provide visible and proactive event leadership, attending key events to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Maintain communication with kitchen and F&B teams to align event plans, service timings, and menu selections.
  • Make informed food, beverage, and event service recommendations.
  • Ensure all events are set up on Jonas & JAM systems, including bookings, billing, budgets, and targets.
  • Monitor sales and direct costs per event, ensuring accurate charging and profitability.
  • Manage direct reports, ensuring they are supported, trained, and contributing effectively.
  • Respond promptly to member enquiries and adapt service style to individual needs.
  • Champion member engagement by gathering feedback and shaping future events.
  • Co-ordinate the House Committee, managing meetings and follow-ups.
  • Work closely with The Queen’s Club Foundation House Committee Representative.
  • Manage tournament-related functions and logistics, working with internal teams and the LTA.
  • Take ownership of the member ticketing process, managing online systems and communication.
  • Develop and manage all tournament-related communications and marketing.
  • Manage all ticket allocations and bookings, including preferential, patrons, clubhouse dining, life members, balconies, staff, grounds, suppliers, and guest badges.
  • Lead the delivery of tournament revenue targets through marketing and hospitality sales.
  • Oversee the distribution and tracking of all ticket categories and staff accreditations.
  • Achieve and exceed financial targets across all event areas.
  • Monitor all costs, ensuring expenses align with budgets and identifying cost reduction areas.
  • Conduct annual price reviews across all revenue-generating departments.
  • Take responsibility for delivering Christmas decorations throughout the Clubhouse.
  • Lead and plan the staff social event calendar.
  • Be accessible and responsive to staff and Members across the Club.
  • Lead and manage by example, upholding the integrity and values of The Queen’s Club.
  • Follow safeguarding policies and procedures, being vigilant on child and adult protection.
  • Work within statutory health and safety requirements and report issues.
  • Work safely adhering to Manual Handling Regulations.
  • Undertake projects and complete objectives as required by management.
  • Assist the Management Team in maintaining high-quality service and standards.
  • Assist colleagues across the Club where possible.
  • Help control costs wherever possible.
  • Attend training and internal meetings as required.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
  • Conduct all aspects of work and behaviour in line with the values of The Queen’s Club.
