About the Role
Our client in Thornton Heath is seeking a Nursery Manager to lead their packaway nursery, focusing on growth and increased occupancy. This role is based on a 40-hour week.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Manage nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets
- Support and guide staff across the nursery
- Manage operations and drive improvements
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years’ in a management or team-leading role
- Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections
Skills
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices
- Passionate about early years and committed to outstanding outcomes
- Confident leader
- Proactive, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards
