About the Role
Our client, Maple Leaf Foods, is seeking a part-time Sales & Merchandising Representative to act as a product expert, ensuring brand execution at the highest level. This role involves increasing product distribution and visibility, executing brand priorities, and building relationships with key store contacts to outsell competitors.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales by building displays and placing point-of-sale material
- Ensure Plan-o-Gram compliance
- Perform merchandising for main shelf, displays, and stock replenishment
- Support new product launches
- Check and correct distribution voids/out-of-stocks
- Build relationships with key store personnel
- Achieve a set number of retail calls daily
- Perform product quality control
- Gather and report field insights using an iPad
Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Must have full access to a reliable, appropriately insured vehicle
- Must have high-speed internet with WiFi at home
- Must have the ability to store and transport supplies from home in your vehicle
- Previous sales and/or merchandising experience preferred, particularly in the grocery/retail channel
