Responsibilities

  • Conducting introductory and in-depth courses in Psychology (Bachelor and Master)
  • Planning and implementing interdisciplinary research and development projects, including publication activities
  • Advising and supervising students
  • Grading student work, supervising seminars, projects, and theses
  • Establishing industry collaborations and partnerships
  • Participating in university administration and committee work
  • Contributing to the conceptual design of new study programmes and curriculum development
  • Advising prospective students and contributing to outreach activities

Requirements

  • University studies completed with a Master’s degree or equivalent in Psychology, or a related field
  • Proof of exceptional aptitude for scientific work, demonstrated by doctorate quality and/or publication quality
  • At least three years of qualified professional experience, with two years outside of a university, in the field of the professorship or related domains
  • Several years of teaching experience at universities in different fields of psychology
  • National and international work experience
  • Ability to teach courses in English and German
  • Commitment to applied research, student engagement, and curriculum innovation
  • Strong ability to communicate and work in a team
  • Willingness to work in Berlin
