About the Role
Join Chessington World of Adventures Resort as a Wardrobe Assistant, supporting the delivery of uniforms to team members, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting with uniform-related queries. This role is crucial for ensuring all team members are equipped and presentable, contributing to the overall guest experience at Britain's biggest wildlife theme park.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain uniform to a high standard and in a reasonable timeframe.
- Support with the delivery of inductions for new hires and issuing the correct uniform to each new team member.
- Process team members who are leaving – including returning uniform and issuing charges for lost uniform.
- Serve at the counter daily to support with any uniform related queries.
- Perform daily laundry duties, including using industrial laundry machines, assessing uniform quality for stains or repairs, and hanging uniform pieces appropriately.
- Maintain a hygienic and presentable environment by performing cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying bins.
- Carry out bi-weekly uniform checks in the park and at park hotels to ensure uniform standards are met.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Positive attitude.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to deliver fun to guests.
Skills
- Basic sewing skills are desired.
