Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, conduct, establish, analyze, and validate bioanalytical experiments based on ligand binding assays (LBA), including pharmacokinetic (PK), anti-drug antibody (ADA), total antibody (TAb), and neutralizing antibody (NAb) studies, following given method development instructions.
  • Perform biological sample analysis using established and qualified ligand binding methods.
  • Independently familiarize yourself with relevant documents and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements and guidelines.
  • Analyze and evaluate results using Precision Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Microsoft Excel, and GraphPad Prism.
  • Support processes related to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Compile and prepare results for overviews, development progress, presentations, and other documentation formats.
  • Review study- and department-related documents, e.g., SOPs, validation protocols, validation reports, notes-to-file, LIMS experiment protocols, protocol templates, and forms.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and take responsibility for assigned equipment.
  • Be responsible for the autoclaving of liquid and solid laboratory waste.
  • Manage reagents at various storage temperatures, maintain material and reagent inventory for all projects, and support ordering processes.
  • Maintain and update clinical sample data in the respective systems.
  • Contribute to the creation, optimization, and adherence to procedures and required SOP documentation for PK and ADA methods, as well as other department-related documents.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory, environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and actively support corresponding safety measures.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a comparable natural science field.
  • First experience in bioanalysis or ligand binding assays (LBA) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of PK, ADA, TAb, and/or NAb analyses is desirable.
  • Experience with LIMS systems, Microsoft Excel, and GraphPad Prism.
  • Careful, structured, and quality-oriented way of working.
  • Good team and communication skills.
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
