About the Role
The Project Technology Department provides specialized services including installation planning, layout design, structural review, magnetic shielding evaluation, and technical support to ensure the safe and smooth implementation of medical equipment. We collaborate with sales, project management, service engineers, hospitals, architectural firms, and construction companies to resolve technical challenges in medical equipment installation, thereby delivering value to medical facilities and supporting high-quality project execution.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and determine the feasibility of installing Siemens equipment in existing and new buildings based on structural calculations.
- Plan structural reinforcement for existing buildings.
- Design, structurally review, and manage the quality of ceiling mounts for medical equipment installation in compliance with Japanese building standards.
- Actively share information with the Project Management and Installation/Setup Engineering teams to enhance the overall knowledge and technical capabilities of the team.
- Collaborate with SCM and other departments beyond one's own division to share current process challenges and propose/execute improvements.
Requirements
- Class 1 Architect (一級建築士)
- Over 10 years of structural design experience
- Experience with structural calculations for RC/S structures
- Customer service experience
Skills
- Hospital design experience
- Class 1 Structural Engineer (構造設計一級建築士)
- Medical equipment mount design experience
- AutoCAD
- Autocad Build 3S or similar structural calculation software
- Experience planning modifications to existing structures
