About the Role
Susquehanna is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our growing team in Barangaroo. This role focuses on Australian payroll with opportunities to learn other Asia Pac regions. The position offers flexibility for either 4 days part-time or full-time.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process monthly end-to-end payroll using ADP
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and salary revisions
- Perform payroll-related bank reconciliations
- Calculate superannuation contributions, payroll tax, and other statutory obligations
- Manage annual renewal of workers compensation
- Handle annual WGEA reporting
- Ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations, awards and Fair Work requirements
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting, including Payment Summaries and EOFY reconciliation
- Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in a relevant Payroll Officer position, processing Australian payroll
- Experience with ADP and outsourced payroll
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
