About the Role
Nexodus Clean is expanding its independent contractor provider network and is seeking dedicated, reliable cleaning professionals to service designated commercial and industrial facilities under an independent contractor agreement. Providers operate as independent 1099 contractors, using their own methods, equipment, and schedule within the scope of each service agreement.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning services including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across designated areas
- Conduct floor care services such as buffing, polishing, and stripping
- Service restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas to hygiene and presentation standards
- Perform minor facility upkeep tasks as scoped in the service agreement
- Adhere to site safety protocols while performing services
- Undertake additional scoped tasks such as painting touch-ups or light repairs, where agreed
Requirements
- Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities-maintenance experience preferred, especially commercial/industrial
- Familiarity with floor care techniques (buffing, stripping) is a plus
- Ability to safely and effectively operate cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality standards
- Physical capability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of a service visit
- Dependable, self-directed work style consistent with independent contractor status
- Residential painting or industrial cleaning experience a plus, not required
- Responsible for own tools, transportation, and supplies unless otherwise specified in the service agreement
