About the Role
Lead the people rebuilding homes and businesses across Team Hart's five Texas markets. This is a hands-on leadership role providing day-to-day construction oversight, coaching project managers, solving field problems, and ensuring quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and healthy profit margins.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach local construction project managers, setting clear expectations and holding teams accountable for results.
- Review project schedules, scopes, budgets, estimates, and change orders to keep work moving and protect profitability.
- Inspect workmanship, identify problems early, and verify that corrective work and punch lists are completed properly.
- Help project managers resolve subcontractor, material, scheduling, and customer issues before they become costly delays.
- Reinforce consistent project documentation, safety practices, code compliance, and customer communication across locations.
- Partner with local general managers and company leadership to recover stalled jobs, reduce rework, and improve closeout.
- Track project performance and follow through on commitments, with clear owners and deadlines.
Requirements
- At least five years of construction experience and three years of management experience.
- Strong working knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods, job costing, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
- A practical leader who can coach others, address problems directly, and follow through without constant supervision.
- Clear communication, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the region, including overnight stays as needed.
- Restoration/reconstruction experience and Xactimate knowledge are preferred.
