About the Role
This position is to promote our solutions to growers based on Sales & Marketing Plan in collaboration with distributors to grow our business. It is critical to understand the market and to work closely with team as well as distributors and other key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Get align with distributors’ sales team and channel partners to execute our promotion activities based on Area Sales Plan
- Execute promotion activities in target areas with distributors and channel partners
- Develop strong partnership with key stakeholders such as Prefectural Agricultural Research Station to obtain the recommendations from them
- Understand the market and its trend for strategy development and implementation
- Develop & implement Area Sales Plan based on National Marketing Plan
- Promote product stewardship for channel customer and end users.
Requirements
- BA or more education with agriculture or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in sales (and marketing) of agrochemicals
- Results-oriented mindset
- Good interpersonal skills to work with other functions/ distributors / channel partners
- Good planning skill with strong business acumen
- PC skill including Excel and PowerPoint
- Good communication skill in Japanese, and preferably also in English
- Travel required
