About the Role
AnyMind Group is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to drive cross-product visibility for cloud infrastructure and data platforms. This role will enhance reliability, security, and operational efficiency while optimizing costs. You will audit setups, create roadmaps, execute migrations, and embed operational practices.
Responsibilities
- Drive Developer Productivity & Quality by establishing shared infrastructure, platform standards, guardrails, and reusable engineering assets.
- Optimize Cloud Operational Costs by gaining holistic visibility into cloud infrastructure and reducing expenses without compromising reliability, performance, and security.
- Standardize & Unify Data/Cloud Platforms by organizing data infrastructure for easy and secure access and consolidating fragmented setups into shared frameworks.
- Identify & Prioritize Platform Bottlenecks by analyzing configurations and workflows to identify redundancies, bottlenecks, and security risks.
- Manage Data Warehouse Optimization & Governance by auditing datasets and establishing standardized rules for naming, schema design, partitioning, retention, and access management.
Requirements
- Hands-on Production Cloud Infrastructure Experience in designing, building, and operating public cloud environments.
- Cloud Cost Analysis & Optimization experience in auditing cloud resource usage and executing cost-reduction strategies.
- Data Warehouse Expertise including table design, access control management, query performance tuning, and storage cost optimization.
- Cross-Functional & Multi-Team Stakeholder Alignment capabilities to drive technical consensus.
- Experience designing and operating production environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience managing multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments (e.g., AWS + GCP).
- Practical experience implementing FinOps frameworks and automated cloud cost optimization tools.
- Hands-on implementation of Data Catalogs, metadata management, data quality frameworks, or data governance protocols.
- Experience with large-scale dataset partitioning, query optimization, and storage optimization.
- English Proficiency for technical discussions, authoring design documents, and participating in global team meetings.
