About the Role
The Registered Nurse ensures clinical patient care at the Mater Hospital is provided in a person-centered manner, aligning with the mission and values of St Vincent’s Health Australia. The role requires adherence to professional scope of practice and hospital policies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure clinical care is provided in a person-centered manner.
- Deliver patient care within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
- Adhere to policies and procedures of the Mater Hospital and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
Requirements
- Valid registration with AHPRA.
- Previous Anaesthetic and/or Recovery experience.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to do call.
- Sound knowledge of Department of Health Guidelines and Regulations, Workplace Health and Safety, Infection Control and their impact on the delivery of care.
- Employment is conditional upon the completion of all role-required pre-employment checks, including relevant immunisations.
