About the Role
The Full-Time Dietary Manager is responsible for the overall operation and management of the hospital's Nutritional Services Department. This position ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and nutritionally appropriate meals to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations. The Dietary Manager oversees food service personnel, menu planning, inventory management, budgeting, and quality assurance activities to support excellent patient outcomes and customer satisfaction. May step in as cook when applicable. This role collaborates with clinical staff and dietitians to meet specialized dietary needs and promotes a culture of service excellence, safety, and operational efficiency throughout the department. This position may require weekend and holiday work if needed.
Responsibilities
- Overall operation and management of the hospital's Nutritional Services Department.
- Ensures delivery of safe, high-quality, and nutritionally appropriate meals.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in healthcare food service required.
- Current Food Handler Certification required.
