About the Role

The ODPP is seeking a Senior Developer to join the Applications & Information Management team to develop, maintain, and implement innovative technology solutions across the Office. You will provide senior-level support for enterprise applications, ensuring optimal performance and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise for, and development of, various enterprise-grade digital based solutions.
  • Proactively identify business risks and opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting and escalating issues, including proactive problem resolution and complex problem analysis as necessary, to maintain system performance to meet user demand.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide technical support.
  • Contribute to building technical system capability by researching and recommending technical solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the ODPP Technical roadmap.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience in analysis, design, development, and application deployment of applications.
  • Experience in development languages including Angular, .NET and C#
  • Experience in building solutions leveraging Azure services such as Event Grid, Functions, Blob Storage, and Azure Container Instances, and managing data interactions with Cosmos DB (NoSQL) and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in development and maintenance of robust API’s for internal and external integrations, including SharePoint-based solutions.
  • Experience with modern project management methodologies (Agile development & systems (Azure DevOps) including conducting code reviews, ensuring adherence to secure coding standards and best practices.
  • Strong data and business analytical skills, with proven ability to quickly gain sound understanding of business practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills to deliver a high level of customer service and manage stakeholders effectively.

Salary/Compensations

  • $166,550 p.a. Package includes salary ($133,348 - $146,945p.a.), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
