About the Role
The Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) will join the San Diego Fertility Center's expanding New York location, providing world-class reproductive care. This role involves patient consultations, treatment implementation, and collaboration with physicians to ensure high-quality fertility services.
Responsibilities
- Provide initial patient consultations, directing infertility evaluations and implementing treatment protocols.
- Obtain detailed medical history, review medical records, and perform appropriate physical examinations.
- Perform infertility-related services including ultrasonography, routine gynecological exams and procedures, endometrial biopsy, and interpretation of laboratory values.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Prepare and counsel patients, providing informed consent for ART services.
- Perform a limited supervisory role for clinical staff, overseeing personnel scheduling and organizational systems.
- Act as a liaison between clinical staff and supervising physician to ensure quality medical care and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide patient counseling and education on pertinent health issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must possess an active, unencumbered NP or PA license in New York.
- Requires experience in IVF (fertility), women's health, or OBGYN.
- Must have solid communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be proficient with EMRs and possess strong computer skills.
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
