About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Process Engineer to integrate deep process engineering expertise into our product. This role involves translating the thought processes and decision-making of an excellent process engineer into capabilities within our AI-powered automated design engine, which generates construction design deliverables for large capital projects.
Responsibilities
- Pair hands-on plant design experience with product development.
- Translate how an excellent process engineer thinks, checks, and makes judgment calls into capabilities within our automated design engine.
- Automate every step of the engineering design process to produce end construction design deliverables for large scale capital projects.
Requirements
- Owned the process design of gas power, industrial plants, chemical production, polymer synthesis, or similar, end to end.
- Possess T-shaped technical excellence: broad understanding of how process connects to adjacent disciplines and the implications of trade-offs across them, with deep expertise in 1-2 areas.
- Demonstrate strong first principles thinking and challenge conventional methods.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and embrace extreme ownership.
- Prioritize impact by identifying bottlenecks and solving the most important problems.
- Be a hands-on engineer focused on execution, comfortable with excruciating minutia and details of their work.
- Align with the company mission and desire to build a future of abundance.
- Significant hands-on process design experience at an engineering firm or owner.
- PE preferred.
