About the Role
As a Store Manager, you will coach and develop your store team to deliver world-class service to all customers and help Pet Parents find the right nutrition and other solutions for their pets. You will be part of a team of passionate Pet Experts, enjoying the perks of helping Pet Parents every day. This position is for enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and grow with one of North America's top pet retailers.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all customer service standards are met by staff and maintain courteous relationships within the community.
- Manage a team of employees, including recruiting, scheduling, training, task assignment, supervision, and coaching.
- Ensure all staff adhere to corporate operational standards and procedures.
- Coordinate order placements, maintain appropriate inventory, ensure store and safety audits are completed, coordinate minor store repairs, and complete corporate paperwork.
- Coordinate store staff efforts to achieve targeted business results.
- Perform other duties and tasks as required.
- Observe and coach employees on sales techniques and customer service.
- Address and escalate inter-team conflicts when necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service and retail store management experience.
- Ability to work scheduled hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Possess reliable transportation to and from the store.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
