About the Role

Royalty Staffing is helping our client hire hands-on Electric Vehicle Technicians to support the build, maintenance, and operation of robotic platforms and modified vehicles. In this role, you will have a blend of mechanical, electrical, and field support work. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in automotive or robotics-related fields and are skilled in using diagnostic tools, reading technical diagrams, and working with electrical systems and components. You enjoy working on real-world systems in a fast-moving, technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install and integrate sensors, compute modules, wiring harnesses, and other custom hardware.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on robotic systems and vehicle platforms.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, retrofits, and hardware updates as needed.
  • Support field deployments by providing on-site service, troubleshooting, and hardware swaps.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support testing and prototyping.
  • Maintain tools, inventory, and clear documentation of repairs and procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience in automotive service, automotive retrofit, robotics, or a similar technical field
  • Proficient with mechanical and electrical tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Comfortable working with AC/DC systems, connectors, and electronic modules
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in field environments
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
  • Team player with strong communication skills and adaptability
